Hi, I’m Dawn — a friendly, patient Digital Skills Tutor based in South Cumbria. I’m dedicated to helping adults of all ages build confidence with everyday technology. Whether you want to navigate your way around your smartphone, tablet, computer, printer or smart devices, I’ll guide you step by step in a calm, clear and encouraging way.

I work with adults from 19 years old to 99 years, from complete beginners to those looking to refresh their skills. My approach is always relaxed and judgement‑free — just practical support at your pace, on your device, in a way that makes technology feel useful in real life.

When I’m not teaching, you’ll usually find me out walking in the fells with my partner and our two dogs. I love the peace, the views, and the chance to switch off from screens for a while.

With over 20 years’ IT software teaching experience and with the reassurance of an Enhanced DBS, I’m here to make technology feel less overwhelming and far more empowering.
